A relaxing summer in the country, part 1. So far, I have been kicking back, producing a few projects in the studio, writing, practicing, planning. All in all it has been great! The serious adventures are still ahead: New Brunswick, Maine, Seattle…then two weeks to rest up before school starts again! I’ll take these summers for sure.
I have been spending a lot of time in the studio this summer, recording and producing. And it’s a varied group of projects too…rock to hip-hop to flamenco to children’s music! The first project is done, and it sounds pretty nice:
It is time for a new 5-year plan. My current one is almost finished…soon I should hve all the details put together for my enrollment in grad school. Here is what I’m thinking so far:
1) get my MASTERs degree in 3 yrs.
2) write a suite based on place
3) play the suite live for rehearsals
4) get a grant to higher musicians and record the suite for my second album @ Signature Sounds in Pomfret
6) transition to a city
It’s thin so far, but I think all doable. Also, I’m going to try to be better about posting to the website. Maybe if I’m visiting more often to blog, I’ll do something about finishing the site design…
