Summer Adventures: part 1

By 10 pm Thurday, my bag was packed, dishes washed, plants watered, and I was ready to head out! With a 6:15 am departure on Friday, my plan for the rest of the evening consisted of watching the Daily Show and hitting bed early.

We left Pomfret by 6:30 am, and were in Maine by about 8:30. After a stop at the Kilibunk rest stop for coffee and breakfast for Moe, we were back on the road. It is now 11am and we ate in schedule to hit Bangor by about noon.

By 7:30 we were in Moncton and having pizza and relaxing from the long drive. I met Zach’s friend Kevin from university, who is being kind enough to put us up for the weekend. The night had a slow start, but we are heading out again soon…
