The Andrew Tyson and Tim Peck Trios featuring Julia Chalfin and Lisa Piccirillo is a 2-hour jazz show featuring both instrumental and vocal jazz as well as original and standard tunes. These four Skidmore alumni will reunite in concert for the first time since 2003. Both trios will share their original music and then combine with the vocalists for a show-stopping super combo.
Andrew Tyson and his trio (Dimitri Moderbacher on bass and Jason Holmes on drums) play in the greater NYC area and released an album of original material entitled “Six PM” in 2014.
Tim Peck is a noted composer and performer hailing from the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. His trio just released an album of his original music entitled “Rivulets” in 2016.
Julia Chalfin performs regularly as an opera soloist in Munich where she also produces her own original shows.
Lisa Piccirillo is a Vermont-based singer/songwriter who has toured the country promoting her own album, “Momentum,” as well as singing with the group Hotels & Highways.
Come join the fun as these spectacular, talented, and entertaining musicians combine forces at the Rockwood Music Hall this October!
