“Places” by Joel Brown, ft. tp

I had the pleasure recently of working with a former professor from Skidmore college. Joel Brown called me up to lay down some Hammond B3 tracks on his record. It was a great project! I headed up to Saratoga for the day to record a few tracks and hang at the studio. I hear the record is finally finished! Check out the press release.

Also, on Sunday December 11th at 10am Joel will be talking about the record on WSPN 91.1 FM (and streaming) and playing a few tracks.Check it out if you are able.

Once the disc is available for purchase I’ll put it up on my discography. Great work Joel, and happy listening!

Yesterday I learned I sold a record in Copenhagen…cool! Which, of course, reminded me that there is a little holiday coming up and people might be looking for gifts, so here is this:

Physical CDs are backordered right this second, but I am shipping more tomorrow, so they won’t be for long. Digital downloads always work. Enjoy, and thank you!

UPDATE: new discs are at CD Baby. Go nuts!

finishing up!

It’s been a great fall term so far! All of my classes at Longy have been great, though commuting an extra day to Boston has been a bit of a drag. However, I am excited for all of my upcoming concerts, starting with the Roots Cafe w/Big Jump this weekend!

Check the gigs page for the most updated information. Also, subscribe to my new mailing list if you want to get updates from me in your email about my upcoming events. The link is above, and all it takes is an email!

Finishing up is a little misleading, since only Pomfret is ending for the term…I still have a few weeks of Longy classes before the semester is over. And I have concerts and recording sessions coming up…and the gigs with Julia…the next month is going to be super busy!
