ef: today was a low-key day, for the most part spent hanging around the house. we slept in and then got up to play with the cats and make some breakfast, just in time for libby to get home from the GRE’s. she was happy with her score and very relieved to be done. we postponed our swimming plans because of possible weather issues and worked on some music instead. we once again maxed out the memory on the SmartMedia card, so had to do some consolidation. then libby took us out looking for a card and we discovered that absolutely no one sells them anymore. this is quite a setback for the emperors of awesome, and could mean that we will switch over to the computer instead...but maybe not.

aaron taught a guitar lesson, and while he was gone i made some shepherds’ pie and then when he got back we ate coconut and drank beers, then ate the shepherds’ pie. wow, i am an amazing cook. tim pretty much didn’t help at all.

after dinner we went to visit some of aaron and libby’s friends micah and amanda. libby didn’t come because she has to teach yoga in the morning.

at micah and amanda’s we sat in the backyard and drank sangria. we also met a guy named brendan who plays bass and makes noise in anticon-type hip hop bands. they sound pretty good, and we may get to hang out and meet some of the people he plays with later this week.

then we came home and had a snack and slept. also we played with bogart the cat.
