tp:  We woke up and headed out from our hotel.  We got right on the road rather than eating right away, just to get some forward momentum.  We soon saw signs for a cracker barrel and stopped for brunch.  Today was an easy day, only six hours or so.  We spent the day driving through Iowa, which is almost exactly as boring as Nebraska.  The goal was to make it to Minneapolis, Minnesota to visit Bond!  Bond is getting her doctorate in maths...maybe.  We had fun hanging out and eating Ethiopian food.  Afterward we went back to her apartment and mastered the Emperors of Awesome CD we recorded on the trip!  The CD ended up only being 2 tracks long.  We ended up spending more time driving and visiting with friends than playing music, but that was the real point of this trip anyways.  After putting it all together in a package for Ian we went to bed.
